“Before working with a nurse coach, I had been working by myself to make changes to my health, by reading and using some apps, like Noom. I do have a coach I use for the gym but I know I needed help making more positive changes in my life, career, and overall health, such as improvements in my mental health and weight loss goals. I had come as far as I could by myself and I was stuck. My interactions with my nurse coach, Jay, were some of the most positive engagements of my week. I looked forward to our appointments and I liked having weekly goals. I liked knowing I had someone to help me be accountable for my progress. "Jay was my student in Barstow, CA, and what a wonderful young man he was to teach.We reconnected through Facebook, and I found him to be the most amazing adult.
